What is that zooming over Nationals practice?
The Nationals got a drone
LEAKED NSA REPORT: NATS ARE A THREAT

See that speck in the sky? The Nats have a drone. It's being used to collect footage for scoreboard video. pic.twitter.com/vXkHzl2GAI

Here's a drone that the Nationals productions crew is using to capture workout footage. Has a GoPro camera attached. pic.twitter.com/m4iYgkBqI8
— Dan Kolko (@masnKolko) February 16, 2014 Pretty cool technology being used at #Nationals camp to get sky shots @wusa9 pic.twitter.com/sU0WPPZdnd
— David Owens (@DaveOwensWUSA) February 16, 2014 Yeah, it’s a drone. The Nationals are violating their own players’ security by surveilling them from the sky. That or it’s a little guy affixed with a camera to collect cool footage for scoreboard promos during the season.
Two baseball things about this: 1. Instead of a camera, could we affix a glove to it and let it zoom around catching fly balls? And then let it play centerfield? 2. Batting practice immediately turned into “hit the drone” practice, right?
In closing, here’s Stephen Strasburg:
“Technology is crazy.”
