Tracy McGrady made his pitching debut for the Sugar Land Skeeters

Baseball pitching. Yes, that Tracy McGrady.

Bob Levey

Back in February, we heard Tracy McGrady was going to take a genuine shot at a baseball career, joining the Sugar Land Skeeters of the ALPB. He said he was serious, and he really was. McGrady made his debut for the Skeeters on Wednesday night in a scrimmage against a community college, pitching one inning and ... kinda getting lit up, via Fox Sports:

McGrady got the start and threw 15 pitches in one inning, allowing one run on three hits in the Skeeters’ 10-1 win.

So, not the sharpest of debuts allowing your opponent’s only run, but McGrady definitely looks the part:

Onward and upward, T-Mac. Soon enough you’ll be striking out 13 batters in 35 seconds. He will. He’ll figure out a way. He’s T-Mac.
