Ian Darke is the class of sports announcers and an absolute delight to listen to, but he’s had a bit of trouble nailing down his USA details today. First he briefly referred to Joe Biden as the president, then this:

It’s “I BELIEVE THAT WE WILL WIN,” but ... close enough.

The chant from the U.S. fans is *not* “I believe I can win,” but I guess Darke could have done worse.
“I suppose that we might win.”
“Win? Sure, yeah, I and my fellow patriots certainly hope so.”
“Honestly, I think we might not win.”
