A very tight bun and what must be a pretty big hat. That’s all it takes to reduce Varejao and his magical bouncing mop to a regular bro.
He looks like he should be named "Andy." Or even "Ders." One wonders if, say, Robin Lopez could pull this off. Photoevidence suggests otherwise, but we haven't seen him try the bun. And I wouldn't go off just draft photos alone, because even Varejao didn't have the just-a-normal-dude-with-normal-hair look down yet on draft night:
All that could have been stuffed under the hat if Anderson so desired. It’s possible. Well, maybe not for Lucas Nogueira.
