James Bell of the U20 New Zealand Warriors rugby team was charged with contrary conduct for this:
Rugby player spits blood at opponent, which you shouldn’t do
Yeah, that’ll get you in trouble.
I don’t think you should spit blood at your opponent, and I think you should get in trouble for spitting blood at your opponent, but I think there’s at least a possibility here that Bell meant only to spit the blood out of his mouth and it just happened to reach a human target. Maybe. I’m just saying, there are more egregious spitting incidents out there:
