Knicks and Rangers owner James Dolan, who’s supposedly backed off Knicks operations since Phil Jackson took over, now has more time to record music with his band, J.D. and the Straight Shot. They’ll open for The Eagles (which they’ve done before) when the band plays Madison Square Garden, and they’ve got some new jams ready for the occasion. Like a song about Trayvon Martin, which you can hear in the New York Times article (scroll down).
