The Braves’ ‘Simba Cam’ is way better than the Kiss Cam

I, for one, like this idea:

The “Kiss Cam” is played out and often laden with heteronormative vibes. “Dance Cam” is kinda boring at this point. Most alternatives -- I’ve seen the “bongo cam” at UNLV, where people mime drumming -- are kinda lame and don’t invite funny enough participation. Making people lift each other like Simba is clever and I approve, especially when Jose Constanza gets involved. The baby doesn’t seem too into it, though.

Just no “Scar Cam” where people push each other off ledges, please.
