Austin Rivers draws interest from Clippers, who are coached and managed by Doc Rivers, who is his dad

They’d be the first father and son coach-player pair ever!

The developing trade sending Jeff Green from the Celtics to the Grizzlies has grown to include a third team, New Orleans, and has taken several rumored forms. The most recent iteration includes the Pelicans' Austin Rivers going to Boston. Woj is on it:

That's funny! Rivers was already playing for Monty Williams, one of his father Doc Rivers' best friends in the league, and now could be headed to Boston, the place where Rivers coached for a decade. But there's more! Rivers could be on the move again immediately:

The Clippers! That’s where Doc Rivers coaches ... right now. And he’s the GM. And here’s Yahoo reporter/breaker of Rivers news Adrian Wojnarowski’s report insisting everyone *else* on the Clippers coaching staff and front office is pushing for Rivers -- a roundly disappointing former lottery pick -- to join the team, while their leader worries about perceived nepotism. This could very well be true, but it comes off pretty strangely, especially as Woj inflects his rumor tweets with hype for a below-average NBA player.

Anyway, Austin suiting up for Doc (in two respects!) should be interesting, and would be the first time a son has played for his own father in the NBA. George and Coby Karl could never quite pull it off.
