Blazers and Pistons players ejected for literally butting heads
It started with Shawne Williams kinda getting in Meyers Leonard’s face after a basket, then continued a few moments later when Joel Freeland arrived to accost Williams and back up Leonard. The two mushed their foreheads together until Freeland head-tossed Williams away like a ram.
They were both ejected, obviously, and they’ve been suspended a game apiece, too:
NBA says Blazers center Joel Freeland & Pistons forward Shawne Williams have been suspended 1 game without pay for head-butting each other.
