While most of us were sleeping, Maickel Melamed of Venezuela was still racing, and eventually finishing, an incredible Boston Marathon performance:
Amazing Venezuelan man with muscular dystrophy finishes Boston Marathon in 20 hours

Melamed lives with a form of muscular dystrophy and struggles to walk, but around 5 a.m. on Tuesday, in the wind and pouring rain, he crossed the finish line surrounded by volunteers and supporters.
Melamed, who works as a motivational speaker, has run several marathons before, and made Boston his last because it was the city in which he was treated and saved when he first became sick as a child.
His stamina and will are astounding, and I really hope he gets the medal he deserves for his marathon of a Marathon.
