Glorious fools BASE jump off one of the world’s tallest buildings
That is the Princess Tower in Dubai, the second-tallest residential building on Earth, and one of the top-20 tallest overall. Some of these folks are BASE jumping off it with parachutes, others are sliding to an apparatus called “Dream Jump,” which is essentially a veeeery long, veeeeeery saggy zipline that lets you freefall unencumbered for quite a while before it diverts you back up away from doom.
And then there’s this guy they just tossed off the building:
They all look like they’re having a lot of fun. I’m very glad for them and very glad I am not them.
