The Cavaliers took Game 4 against the Bulls because LeBron James hit a game-winning jumper at the buzzer. He did so after hijacking the play call, overruling David Blatt’s request that he throw the inbound pass to take the shot himself. Though the Cavs won, plenty of people are focusing on LeBron and Blatt after the relationship between the two looked strained at times this season.
LeBron James compares working with David Blatt to relationship with his wife
... and Blatt compares himself to a fighter pilot.
So that’s what LeBron’s getting asked about the day after a huge win. Here’s how he’s answering:
LeBron says his relationship w/ Blatt "grows every day. I've been w/my wife since 11th grade & our relationship continues 2 grow every day."
— Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) May 11, 2015 Why is Blatt catching heat? LeBron: "Because he's coaching me."
— Ethan J. Skolnick (@EthanJSkolnick) May 11, 2015 Basically a giant shrug ‘n’ flex. I don’t quite understand the wife thing, but the point is LeBron’s not too worried about moments of disagreement.
Blatt’s not having such an easy time explaining away that situation or the moment he tried to call a timeout and nearly blew the game for the Cavs:

— Dave McMenamin (@mcten) May 11, 2015 Blatt on the timeout call that wasn't: "It's not a story. It's part of the drama."
— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) May 11, 2015 Blatt on late-game hijinx: "You guys want to make it the story. We won the game." #Cavs
— Tom Withers (@twithersAP) May 11, 2015 They did win! He’s not wrong. Blatt probably doesn’t feel that way today, though.
