Very early Monday morning, the minor league Carolina Mudcats were en route to Myrtle Beach when their bus crashed and flipped near the South Carolina border. Eight of the 33 people aboard the Braves’ affiliates bus, including seven players and a trainer, were taken to the hospital with injuries. Thankfully, none are believed to be serious.

It’s miraculous, because the accident as described by Mudcats director of media relations, Greg Young, sounds terrifying for a group of people, who were mostly jolted out of asleep when it happened:
