The Rams might move back to Los Angeles! That is a strong possibility. If that news does ever arrive, it will probably not be tipped by a URL. What I’m referring to is the Internet noticing Monday that the Los Angeles Rams have a page on NFL.com that includes all of the current St. Louis Rams’ info:
The Internet freaked out about a ‘Los Angeles Rams’ NFL.com page

(That page may redirect for you, but I promise it didn’t before.)
Ummmm @NFL, can you explain this? http://t.co/O9La3GjPQP
— Tom Shepherd (@shep82jr) May 4, 2015 Well well well, the NFL has a Los Angeles Rams placeholder page. (via @KnuppelRodney) http://t.co/RZ36iq0dYq
— Matt Sebek (@MattSebek) May 4, 2015 I guess it's unofficially official. Click the link. This is a real page on http://t.co/7yQMpi8bTY http://t.co/NSegdFxoye
— Todd (@lilbonest) May 4, 2015 is this for real??? http://t.co/Yf9o8H5h6P
— Sean Zurbriggen (@scz8t3) May 4, 2015 ... but is there anything to this? Are the NFL.com webmasters the first people to know a Rams move to LA is official? Well,
@NFLosophy They have them for a bunch of old teams. It also works for Houston Oilers, LA Raiders, and Boston Patriots.
— Justin Martin (@justindmartin6) May 4, 2015 Oh.
And another, via commenter Bryqan:
Okay. There aren’t really any other franchises to check this with, but there you go.
The Rams might move! The inner workings of a website probably won’t tell us first. I understand the excitement, though. I spent like an hour last year trying different URL permutations to find out the name of the Knicks’ new D-League team. It ended up being the Knicks. Just wait and find out when they tell you, is what I’m saying.
