The Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas has almost the same name as NBA legend/disgraced executive Isiah Thomas. He got that name because his dad lost a bet, and it causes confusion sometimes, like when Knicks fans boo the current player because they loathe the executive so much, or when the executive gets hired by the New York Liberty and fans of the current player get sooo confused:
