Unseeded Italian Roberta Vinci triumphed over Serena Williams Friday, denying the top-seeded American her shot at a Grand Slam. It was heartbreaking for a lot of Americans, but it was damn impressive to witness such an upset, and delight in Vinci’s big moment really set in once you heard her speak.
