Syracuse player gets crossed up, but makes the defensive play on his butt

Two things happen here:

1. First, Dayton’s Scoochie Smith crosses Syracuse’s Trevor Cooney onto his ass, which is embarrassing, BUT ...

2. Cooney, if you look closely, reaches into the path of Smith’s dribble JUST enough to affect it. It’s hard to tell, but I’m pretty sure he got a finger on it and that’s why Smith mishandled the ball.

That kind of day for Dayton. :(
