Stephen Curry’s 17 overtime points were more than most teams scored in OTs this season

There have been 91 NBA overtime sessions in 2015-2016, playoffs included. Here is how many points got scored by each team involved in every single one of those OTs:

So yeah, I lied a little bit. I said "teams." Indeed, these are mostly teams! All the way at left are the Memphis Grizzlies scoring 22 points in an overtime against the Pelicans on March 11. Invisible at far right is the time Chicago scored 0 points in 5 minutes on November 7 against Minnesota. In between are bars representing 179 other team overtime performances ...

.. and one Stephen Curry, who is not a team, but a person (arguably).

Steph dropped 17 points on the Blazers in the overtime session of the Warriors' Game 4 victory. That's the most points any player has ever scored in an NBA overtime period, which is why it's an accomplishment best viewed on the order of whole teams. On 171 occasions this season, teams working in constant five-man shifts failed to produce as many points in five minutes as a Steph Curry did by himself on an iffy knee.

It was a lot of points. That’s what I mean to say. Stephen Curry scored a whole lot of points. He is very good.
