Alex Belth

Alex Belth has operated Bronx Banter, a sports and culture website, for ten years. In 2012 he was named New York’s “Best Sports Writer” by the Village Voice. He edited “The Best Sports Writing of Pat Jordan” and “Lasting Yankee Stadium Memories,” and is the author of “Stepping Up” a biography of Curt Flood. Belth’s profile of the late boxing writer George Kimball is featured in “The Best Sports Writing 2012.”
