Brandon K. Thorp

Brandon K. Thorp grew up in Fort Lauderdale, where he worked for half a decade for Village Voice Media as a theater critic and investigative reporter. He moved to New York at the end of 2010 to co-produce a four-part documentary for CNN’s Anderson Cooper. He’s written for Gawker and CNN.com, served for a year as the weekend editor of Towleroad.com, and has worked as a news anchor at Sirius XM and an arts critic on Miami’s NPR affiliate, WLRN. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner, the journalist Penn Bullock.
