Gil Arcia

Gil became a Bucs fan in the early 90’s when he saw his first live Buccaneers game at the age of 10 — a game in which Tampa Bay was scorched by Jerry Rice and the 49ers. Perhaps it was a pity thing, but he became a fan nonetheless. In the early 2000’s, he began covering the NFL before shifting his focus to only covering the Bucs. Since, he’s covered the team for his own independent outlet The Bay Cave (R.I.P.), JoeBucsFan, Pewter Report, Scouts, Inc., and 620 WDAE. He has been with SB Nation since 2018 covering the Buccaneers, with some PGA Masters coverage sprinkled in throughout his time. He is a credentialed media member of the NFL, PGA, and a member of the PFWA.
