Jeffrey Haley

Jeff Haley writes about basketball, booze, and Twitter for Burnt Orange Nation, a blog about Texas Longhorns athletics, and operates the website hoop-math.com, which presents unusual college basketball statistics derived from play-by-play data. His writing has also appeared in College Basketball Prospectus 2012-2013, at ESPN Insider, at SBNation.com, and at TeamRankings.com. Jeff is a Texas alumnus, and received a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota. He lives with his wife and two dogs in Cincinnati, OH, where he makes his living working in research and development for a chemical company.
