Maryland lands four-star guard Roddy Peters
Four-star point guard Roddy Peters has decided on Maryland as his college destination, another big recruit for Mark Turgeon’s staff.

Turgeon might have lost out on a pair of guards in the Harrison twins, the No. 2 and 4 players in the country who chose Kentucky, but the District Heights, Md., prospect is nothing to sneeze at as the No. 39 player in the nation. The 6’4 point guard was drawing interest from Kansas and also considering local program Georgetown, but decided on the Terps Tuesday morning.
While the Harrisons are widely expected to leave Kentucky after one year, Peters isn’t considered a likely one-and-done player and will be able to help Maryland for several years coming. The Suitland High School prospect received a visit from Turgeon at his house Monday night, according to SB Nation’s Testudo Times.
