Maryland’s neutral site contest against Kentucky in Brooklyn on Nov. 9 might be the most intriguing game of college basketball’s opening night. That being the case, you couldn’t expect Under Armour to let the Terps just wear their ordinary uniforms.
Maryland to wear special uniforms for game against Kentucky
The Terps will pay unofficial homage to the Brooklyn Dodgers when they face Kentucky inside the Barclays Center on Nov. 9.

“The expectation is for teams to come out in unique uniforms for big games,” said Adam Clement, Under Armour’s lead designer for uniforms, “We worked with the school to do something that showed the appreciation for sports in Brooklyn.”
With the game being played at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the uniforms Maryland will wear pay unofficial tribute to the Brooklyn Dodgers with their grey coloring and tail beneath the “Maryland” script.
i understand that specialized jerseys might be the most overdone thing in college sports right now, but I’m still going to have to side with the “very cool” crowd on this one.
It’s Ok to like things every now and then. Even on the Internet.
