Seton Hall point guard sidelined by sprained PCL

Seton Hall sophomore point guard Aaron Crosby could be out up to four weeks with a sprained PCL depending on how his rehab goes, putting him in question for the start of the season.

Seton Hall point guard Aaron Cosby will reportedly miss up to four weeks due to a sprained PCL injury. While it is unknown how Cosby sustained the sprain in his knee, in the report, Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard told SNY.tv that the timetable for Cosby's return was, "up to four weeks, could be two, it could be four. Just depends on how he heals."

If the rehab for the knee injury does take three-to-four weeks, it would mean that Cosby would miss the opening of the Pirates’ season. Seton Hall kicks off the 2012-13 season on Nov. 9 against the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Big East play begins for the Pirates on Jan. 2 at DePaul.

The sophomore point guard averaged 7.9 points, 2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game in his freshman season at Seton Hall. He is expected to be Seton Hall’s starting point guard when he returns from the injury.
