No. 1 Indiana improved to 2-0 on the season with a 87-61 win against North Dakota State on Monday.

No. 1 Indiana had little trouble with North Dakota State, knocking off the Bison on Monday, 87-61.


The Hoosiers jumped out to a 6-0 lead to start the game, and although the Bison countered with a 5-0 run to make it 6-5, Indiana pulled away from there. Indiana led 42-29 at halftime and extended the lead with a 45-32 second half. Cody Zeller once again led the way for Indiana, finishing with 22 points and nine rebounds. He was also efficient, making eight of his 12 field goal attempts.
Sophomore Remy Abell provided a nice boost for the Hoosiers, scoring 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting. Indiana made nine of its 24 three-point attempts, but Abell was a perfect 3-of-3 from deep. Freshman forward Jeremy Hollowell also scored in double figures, finishing with 14 points. Hollowell has now scored in double figures in each of his first two collegiate games.
Marshall Bjorklund led North Dakota State with 16 points. Mike Felt also scored in double figures, finishing with 11 points.
