No. 20 Notre Dame vs. Saint Joseph’s final score: Hawks upset Irish in Brooklyn
St. Joseph’s dominated overtime in a victory over Notre Dame.

Roberts Jr. came off the bench for the Hawks, but still put up 21 points and 14 rebounds, leading the team in both categories. He was just 5 of 12 from the field, but made 11 of 16 from the free throw line -- those 11 free throws were five more than the Irish made as a team. The Hawks’ second leading scorer was another play who came off the bench. Chris Wilson put up 19 points, five boards and three assists.
The Irish were powered by forward Jack Cooley, who posted 14 points and 14 boards on 6-of-12 shooting. As a team, though, the Irish struggled from the floor, shooting just 38 percent. Guard Jerian Grant made 4 of his 17 shots on the night and guard Eric Atkins made just 4 of 10.
The Irish are sure to drop from the rankings, but will have a chance to make an impression on a national stage on Nov. 29 when they host the Kentucky Wildcats.
