No. 6 Syracuse vs. Colgate final score: Orange obliterate Raiders, 87-51
Syracuse took care of business in their instate rivalry Sunday, crushing Colgate, 87-51.

Michael Carter-Williams stretched out his dime-dropping streak, chipping in 13 more assists to give him 33 in his past three games. The sophomore point guard also racked up eight points, six rebounds and four steals to fulfill his do-it-all role for Syracuse.
Carter-Williams logged an assist on eight of Syracuse’s first nine baskets and the 13 he had throughout was only one shy of the third-highest single game total in team history.
Carter-Williams wasn’t the only Orange player filling up the stat sheet though. James Southerland continued to provide Syracuse with that Dion Waiters-like spark off the bench, contributing a team-high 18 points while going 7-for-12 from the field and 4-for-9 from downtown. Southerland and Carter-Williams were also two of six players for Syracuse to score at least eight points in less than 30 minutes of play.
This was the 165th meeting between these New York schools. With the win, Syracuse extended their winning streak in the matchup to 46 straight games.
