The No. 21 Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team continued its strong start to the season by beating the Florida State Seminoles, 77-68, in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge.

The Gophers put one in the win column for the Big Ten with a balanced attack from their backcourt players. Guard Joe Coleman led the balanced scoring effort with 16 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor.

Austin Hollins scored 13 points and Andre Hollins scored 12 points to give the Gophers three guards scoring in double figures. Minnesota's leading scorer, Rodney Williams Jr., added 14 points along with a couple of rim-rattling dunks.

Florida State's top scorer, Michael Snaer, paced the Seminole with 12 points while forward Terrance Shannon added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

With the win, Minnesota moves to 7-1 on the season with its only loss coming to No. 2 Duke earlier in the season. The win is also the third straight win for Minnesota after beating Memphis and Stanford prior to playing Florida State.
