The No. 7 Florida Gators (6-0) remained undefeated with a 82-49 win over the Marquette Golden Eagles (5-2) Thursday. Marquette had won three straight prior to Thursday's loss.

The No. 7 Florida Gators beat Marquette, 82-49, Thursday.


Michael Frazier II led six Gators in double figures with 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting. Casey Prather, Mike Rosario and Will Yeguete had 11 points each and Patric Young and Erik Murphy each scored 10. Young had nine rebounds and Yeguete had seven. Kenny Boynton had five assists and Scottie Wilbekin had four.
Only one Marquette player, Vander Blue, scored in double figures. Blue had 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting. No other player had more than six points for the Golden Eagles.
Marquette shot 41 percent from the field and 25 percent from three-point range. Florida shot 52 percent overall and 38 percent from three. Florida led, 38-24, at halftime. Florida’s 82 points were two shy of a season high. The Gators have won all five of their games by double figures this season.
