Baylor fell into a hole early in the first half, but came back to lead 34-29 at halftime, and maintained their lead for the entire second half. The loss breaks Kentucky's 55 game winning streak at Rupp Arena, which was the longest in the nation.

The Baylor Bears went into Rupp Arena on Saturday and defeated the Kentucky Wildcats 64-55, snapping UK’s 55 game home winning streak.

The Bears handed Kentucky their second straight loss, after they fell 64-50 to Notre Dame earlier in the week. A big reason why is because the Wildcats shot the ball poorly, converting only 29.6 percent of their shots from the floor, and only 18.2 percent from behind the three point line. Kentucky was able to stay in the game, however, due to their advantage 44-36 advantage on the boards.
Pierre Jackson didn't have a great day shooting (5-18), but led the Bears with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists. A.J. Walton had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Isaiah Austin had 11 points and four rebounds.
Archie Goodwin led the 'Cats with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and Alex Poythress had 13 points and six rebounds, including five offensive rebounds. Nerlens Noel had eight points and 15 rebounds, but shot only 3-14 from the floor.
