No. 1 Indiana vs. Coppin State final score: Hoosiers defeat Eagles, 87-51

Indiana outscored Coppin State 54-32 in the second half to secure the win.

Victor Oladipo had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the Indiana Hoosiers over the Coppin State Eagles, 87-51, on Saturday in Bloomington, Ind.

Indiana held a three-point lead, 22-19, with 5:10 remaining in the first half before going on a 11-0 run to end the first frame and hold a 33-19 lead at the break.

The Hoosiers carried their momentum into the second half as they outscored the Eagles 54-32 in the final 20 minutes to secure the 36-point win.

Indiana held Coppin State to just 33.9 percent shooting from the field while the Hoosiers shot 52.5 percent from the floor. Indiana had 21 assists on 31 field goals in the game.

Will Sheehey and Remy Abell added 14 and 10 points respectively off the bench for Indiana. Christian Watford recorded 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Hoosiers.

Taariq Cephas led Coppin State with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field.

Indiana improved to 8-0 with the win while Coppin State fell to 1-6.
