The No. 12 Gonzaga Bulldogs defeated the Pacific Tigers, 85-67, on Saturday night in Spokane to move to 8-0 on the young season.

Gonzaga's big men controlled the game, as Sam Dower and Kelly Olynyk dominated the Tigers inside the paint. Dower scored a game-high 18 points, Olynyk added 15 points, and the two combined for 17 rebounds and 13-17 shooting.

Pacific stayed in the game throughout most of the first period, and with 6:22 remaining in the half, the Tigers' Lorenzo McCloud hit a jumper to make it a 29-27 Gonzaga lead. But the Bulldogs poured on a 20-7 run to close those final six minutes, and were in control the rest of the night.

Elias Harris added another 17 points in Gonzaga's big-man domination. Travis Fulton led Pacific in scoring with 18 points of his own, shooting 4-5 from the 3-point line in an effort that saw the Tigers shoot 10-19 from beyond the arc as a team.

Gonzaga is back in action on Wednesday with a road game against the Washington State Cougars.
