There was not much movement at the top of the USA Today Coaches' Top 25 poll, with only one change in the top 10. The Illinois Fighting Illini beat the Gonzaga Bulldogs, 85-74, in a battle of ranked teams. With the victory, Illinois stole the No. 10 ranking from Gonzaga who moved down to No. 14 with its first loss of the season.

After knocking off the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Illinois took over Gonzaga’s spot at No. 10 in the latest USA Today Coaches’ Top 25 poll. Top-ranked Indiana received 25 first-place votes while No. 2 Duke received six first-place votes.


The top of the coaches' poll is still led by the Indiana Hoosiers, who are 9-0 on the season and received 25 first place votes. The No. 2 Duke Blue Devils, also 9-0, received the six other first place votes. The Michigan Wolverines, Syracuse Orange, Florida Gators, Louisville Cardinal, Ohio State Buckeyes, Arizona Wildcats, and Kansas Jayhawks filled out the rest of the top 10 in spots three through nine.
John Calipari's Kentucky Wildcats slid three spots down to No. 22 after moving to 6-3 on the season.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers made a big move up, jumping five spots to No. 16 after improving to 10-1 on the season.
