The No. 3 Michigan Wolverines (10-0) relied on strong guard play to roll past visiting Binghamton (2-9), 67-39 on Tuesday night.

The Wolverines overcame a slow start in the first few minutes of the game before throwing a 19-2 run at the Bearcats and taking a 34-14 lead to the locker room at halftime. Sophomore guard Trey Burke led the way for Michigan with 19 points and five assists while freshman Nik Stauskas added 12 points.

Michigan made 10 three-pointers in the game with Burke and Stauskas combining to make seven of 14 shots from behind the arc. Freshman big man Mitch McGary helped Michigan out around the basket with six points and 10 rebounds.

Binghamton freshman guard Jordan Reed paced the Bearcats with 11 points and eight rebounds.

The win keeps the Wolverines undefeated for the season as they look to continue their winning streak in non-conference play on Saturday when they visit West Virginia.
