No. 21 UNLV vs. La Verne final score: Rebels double up Leopards, win 91-44

USA TODAY Sports

Freshman forward Anthony Bennett continued his early season tear Thursday night as the UNLV Rebels demolished the overmatched La Verne Leopards, 91-44. Bennett finished the game with 27 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks as the Rebels won their sixth game in a row.

The Rebels opened the game on a 15-2 run that set the tone for the rest of the game as they took a 38-21 lead in to the half. The Rebels poured it on in the second half, outscoring the Leopards, 53-23. Katin Reinhardt added 14 points and six rebounds as all but one Rebel player scored in the game.

UNLV was playing without forward Mike Moser, who dislocated his right elbow during last weekend's win against Cal. Moser could miss as much as a month of action. The Rebels next head to El Paso next Monday, where they'll play the UTEP Miners. That game is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
