2012 Bob Cousy Award watch list announced
The watch list for the 2013 Bob Cousy Collegiate Point Guard of the Year Award was announced on Thursday.

The award is given to the top point guard in men's college basketball. The watch list has over 80 candidates, including Michigan's Trey Burke, Louisville's Peyton Siva and Ohio State's Aaron Craft. The initial watch list will be narrowed down to 20 before being cut to 10 and then a final five. The winner will be announced during Final Four weekend.
Siva, Burke and Craft were three of the favorites for the award going into the season. Burke was named as a first-team preseason All-American by the Associated Press while Craft and Siva also garnered preseason honors. Craft was a finalist for the 2012 Bob Cousy Award, which was won by North Carolina's Kendall Marshall.
The winner will be selected by a committee which is made up of media members, college head coaches, sports information directors and members of the Hall of Fame. The complete list of watch list members can be found here.
