The No. 24 Oklahoma State Cowboys cruised past the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 78-42, on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.

The No. 24 Oklahoma State Cowboys jumped out to a 20-point lead less than 10 minutes into their game against Tennessee Tech and never looked back.


Behind guard Phil Forte, the Cowboys jumped out to a 26-6 lead midway through the first half and never looked back. Forte scored eight of those first 26 points, and finished the game with 22 points and six rebounds, while draining six of his eleven three-point attempts.
Four other Cowboys players finished in double figures in scoring, led by forward Kamari Murphy, who had 12 points and five rebounds.
Jud Dillard did most of the damage on offense for Tennessee Tech, scoring 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Jeremiah Samarrippas also scored in double figures for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 11 points.
The Cowboys will be off for more than a week before wrapping up their non-conference slate with a home showdown against the No. 14 Gonzaga Bulldogs at 6 p.m. ET on New Year's Eve.
