No. 7 Missouri vs. UCLA final score: Bruins win OT thriller, 97-94

Freshman star Shabazz Muhammad hit a pair of three-pointers in the extra period to give UCLA its first victory against a ranked opponent in nearly two years, defeating No. 7 Mizzou.

Shabazz Muhammad scored 27 points, six of which came on two three-pointers in overtime, to lift the UCLA Bruins past the Missouri Tigers, 97-94, on Friday night at Pauley Pavilion.

The win ended the Bruins’ long drought against ranked teams. The last time UCLA (10-3) defeated a ranked opponent was on Feb. 26, 2011, over then-ranked No. 10 Arizona.

Missouri (10-2) won the rebounding margin, grabbing 42 rebounds to the Bruins’ 32, but turned the ball over 17 times.

Junior guard Phil Pressey made school history by dishing out 19 of Missouri's 21 assists, shattering the previous record of 13, which had been done twice before. He added 19 points to lead the Tigers in scoring, and also had three rebounds and two steals.

Travis Wear chipped in with 22 points and nine rebounds for UCLA. The Bruins shot 50.6 percent from the field, but struggled mightily from the three-point line, going just 4-of-14.
