NCAA basketball rankings: Hoosiers stay on top of USA Today Coaches Poll

After back-to-back losses, Kentucky falls in the rankings.

US PRESSWIRE

The Indiana Hoosiers once again have a death grip on the top of the USA Today Coaches Poll released Monday.

Indiana earned 25 first-place votes to once again stay on top of the poll. Duke earned six first-place votes and are the No. 2 team. Both teams are 8-0 this season.

Michigan (7-0), Syracuse (5-0) and Florida (6-0) round out the top five.

Ohio State was the No. 4 team last week, but a 73-68 loss to Duke dropped the Buckeyes to the No. 7 spot.

Kentucky saw the biggest drop in the standings. After back-to-back losses to Notre Dame and Baylor, the Wildcats moved from the No. 8 spot to No. 19.
