No. 11 Cincinnati vs. UALR final score: Bearcats stay undefeated with 87-53 win

Big first half propels Bearcats to lopsided win Thursday.

The No. 11 Cincinnati Bearcats improved to 8-0 on the season with an 87-53 win over the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans Wednesday.

The Bearcats got off to a fast start, propelled by an aggressive defense, and led 44-17 at halftime. Four Bearcats scored in double figures, led by junior Sean Kilpatrick with 18 points, six rebounds and two assists. Cheikh Mbodj had 12 points and six rebounds. JaQuon Parker had 11 points, two rebounds and two assists. David Nyarsuk had 12 points and six rebounds. Cincinnati shot 48 percent for the game.

Three players — James White, Will Neighbour and Ben Dillard — scored 10 points each for Arkansas-Little Rock. UALR shot 40 percent for the game and 20 percent from 3-point range. UALR is now 7-4 on the season with the loss.

Cincinnati hosts Maryland Eastern Shore at 2 p.m. on Saturday in its next game. UALR hosts Tulsa on Dec. 15 in its next game.
