The NC State Wolfpack used a balanced scoring attack to top the Cleveland St. Vikings, 80-63 at home on Saturday afternoon.

NC State nearly shot 55 percent from the field and had five players score in double figures en route to a win over Cleveland State at home.


Five players scored 10 points or more for No. 25 NC State, which shot 54.7 percent from the field. Four starters reached double figures, with forward C.J. Leslie leading the way with 19 points on an efficient 7-of-8 shooting. Big man Richard Howell provided his second consecutive double-double and fourth this season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
T.J. Warren was key off the bench for the Wolfpack, adding 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting, hitting both of his attempts from beyond the arc.
The Vikings, meanwhile, were held to 43.9 percent shooting and committed 18 turnovers. Guard Charlie Lee scored a team-high 15 points, but also committed eight turnovers himself. Center Devon Long just missed out on what would have been his first double-double of the year, falling short with 12 points and nine boards.
The win moves NC State to 3-0 at home with six contests remaining on its seven-game home stint.
