Jack Cooley had 15 points and 11 rebounds on 7-of-11 shooting from the field to lead the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over the Brown Bears, 84-57, on Saturday.

Notre Dame won its sixth game in a row on Saturday.


Eric Atkins added a 10-point, 11-assist double-double for Notre Dame while Cameron Biedscheid led the team in scoring with 17 points.
As a team the Fighting Irish had 21 assists on their 34 field goals and shot 50.7 percent from the field to improve to 8-1 on the year. Notre Dame’s only loss this season came against Saint Joseph’s, 79-70 in overtime. Since the loss, Notre Dame has won six games in a row by double-digits.
The loss was Brown's second straight, as the Bears fell to 3-5 on the season. Matt Sullivan led Brown with 18 points while Sean McGonagill added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Notre Dame outscored Brown by double-figures in both the first and second half to secure the 27-point win. The Fighting Irish will now prepare to play their slumping in-state rival Purdue on Dec. 15.
