Missouri became the latest Top 25 team to fall on Saturday by going to Ole Miss and losing 64-49 in a game the Tigers never led.

The Tigers missed their first nine shots before Tony Criswell finally got them on the board with 13:25 remaining in the first half. Though Missouri kept it close for the first 30 minutes, the Tigers were never able to get over the hump as Murphy Holloway scored 22 points to lead Mississippi.
Phil Pressey scored 10 points for the Tigers, though he did not get on the board until the 1:20 mark of the first half. Missouri came into the game averaging 79 points per game, good for 23rd in the nation, but were never able to get into a rhythm offensively. The Tigers were also the country's best rebounding team, but lost the battle of the boards, 33-32.
With the loss, Missouri drops to 12-3 and 1-1 in the SEC. Ole Miss, meanwhile, has a pretty good argument for Top 25 consideration next week. The Rebels are 13-2, 2-0 in conference, and now have a quality win under their belt. The early losses to Middle Tennessee and Indiana State still hurt, though.
