Fresh off their first loss of the season and in search of their third Pac-12 victory of the year, the No. 4 Arizona Wildcats delivered a statement on Saturday, beating the Oregon State Beavers on the road, 80-70.

Fresh off their first loss of the season, the Arizona Wildcats traveled to Oregon State and delivered a statement, winning 80-70.


Solomon Hill made four of his five three-point attempts in the first half to help put the Wildcats up 43-35 at the break. Freshman Brandon Ashley finished the game 6-8 from the field for 12 points.
For the game, Arizona shot 10-25 from three and out-rebounded Oregon State, 37-34, both stats helping to offset the Wildcats' 16 turnovers. Kaleb Tarczewski accounted for five of them.
Four players scored in double figures for each team, as Mark Lyons and Hill each scored 16 to pace Arizona. Ahmad Starks had 18 to lead Oregon State.
The loss drops the Beavers to 0-3 in Pac-12 play, while Arizona improves to 3-1. Next up, the Wildcats visit in-state rival Arizona State, and Oregon State will visit UCLA.
