No. 16 Kansas State vs. TCU final score: Wildcats pick up easy 67-54 win

The win is the seventh straight for Kansas State.

USA TODAY Sports

Kansas State denied TCU its first ever BIg 12 victory with a 67-54 win. The Wildcats won their seventh straight game and improved to 3-0 in the conference with the victory.

Rodney McGruder was once again the star for the Wildcats. The Kansas State leading scorer scored 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting from the field. He was the only Wildcat to reach double figures in scoring.

As a team, Kansas State shot particularly well from long range. The Wildcats went 9-for-17 from beyond the arc.

By halftime, the Wildcats were in complete control of the game and ahead 38-25. TCU has had a rough time so far in its new conference, as it has dropped its first four games.

Things should be a little more difficult on Saturday for Kansas State when it hosts Oklahoma. The game will feature two of the three teams that are still undefeated in Big 12 play.
