Florida imposed its will on Mizzou from the opening tip, racing out to a 15-2 lead behind hot shooting and stifling defense. The Gators held the Tigers to 32-percent shooting on Saturday, just two days after forcing Texas A&M to shoot 34 percent in another Florida romp.
The Gators had their stroke going offensively, hitting 59 percent of their shots, including 42 percent from beyond the three-point arc. Erik Murphy led Florida with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, while Scottie Wilbekin pitched in 13 points and 10 assists.
Jabari Brown finished with 16 points for the Tigers, who suffered their second blowout loss in as many road games in conference play.
Florida (14-2) will hit the road to face Georgia on Wednesday, while Missouri (13-4) returns home to take on South Carolina on Tuesday.
