The No. 14 NC State Wolfpack held off the Clemson Tigers, 66-62, on Sunday at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. T.J. Warren came off the bench to score 21 points, igniting the Wolfpack to their fourth victory in ACC play.

Clemson’s Devin Booker scored 27 points, but NC State was able to keep most of the Tigers’ other players at bay in a hard-fought win in ACC play on Sunday.


NC State quickly built a 13-2 lead after Rodney Purvis hit a trio of three-pointers in the opening minutes of the game. However, Clemson center Devin Booker single-handedly kept the Tigers in the game by racking up 18 of the team's 26 first-half points. In the second half, Booker and the Tigers fought all the way back to tie the game at 57 with 2:25 remaining.
The Wolfpack regained the lead on Richard Howell's three-point play, and were able to hold on by making free throws down the stretch, and were aided by two Clemson turnovers in the final 10 seconds. Howell was key for NC State, finishing with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Booker ended up scoring a career-high 27 points on 13-of-18 shooting.
