We all saw Miami disembowel the no. 1 Duke Blue Devils Wednesday night and it was pretty great. Even better: That moment toward the end where the entire team decided to mock Duke’s unbearable floor-slapping routine. And it all started with Warren Sapp, of course.
How Warren Sapp helped Miami basketball players mock Duke
Just when you thought ‘The U’ was dead...

UM sophomore guard Shane Larkin was shooting free throws immediately before the slapping.
"I just heard somebody scream my name," he said. "It was Warren Sapp. He was like like 'slap the floor on D."
It worked, too.
"I think we got the stop," he said with a smile.
You might have been disappointed or even concerned if you heard about Miami’s basketball players slapping the floor Wednesday night, but fear not! This was scathingly sarcastic floor-slapping during a 30-point blowout, which makes it officially the best floor-slapping ever.
THANK YOU WARREN SAPP, THANK YOU MIAMI HURRICANES.
So beautiful, especially with the score underneath.
In conclusion: It’s still All About The U.
It will never be all about Duke basketball.
