Northern Illinois scores 4 points in first half vs. Eastern Michigan

The Northern Illinois Huskies scored just four points in the first half against the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, and went 24 minutes and 33 seconds between field goals.

The Huskies made their second shot attempt of the game, a jumper from Abdel Nader one minute into the game, then proceeded to miss 30 straight field goal attempts to close out the opening half.

Nader made a free throw at the 2:32 mark in the first half, and leads the Huskies with three points. Their other point in the half came on Mike Davis' free throw with 8:48 remaining.

The Huskies ended up missing 36 consecutive field goal attempts, and shot 1-for-32 in the first half, good for 3.1 percent. They went 0-for-20 from three-point range in the half. Eastern Michigan made 38 percent of its attempts, but that number certainly seems a lot higher compared to its opponent's disastrous performance.
